About Sophia High School: Our Story as a British Online School
Sophia High School was founded in 2020 by a team of former British Headteachers and Experienced Educators. We are a UK K-12 British Online School for children between the ages of 4 to 18.
Part of the Sophia Technologies Group, Sophia High School uses digital technologies and incredible people to change that way that families and students from around the globe can access a high quality British Education and engage with learning in our global classroom.

Founded in 2018, Sophia is both a British Online School and technology company that builds solutions and tools for students, teachers and schools. We believe the future of education will be driven by disruptive technologies which focus on people rather than products. All our tools are imagined by educators, build by our in-house team of developers and then test with within the digital playground that is Sophia High School. We believe it’s time to disrupt education as we address how students in the UK and around the world access high quality, personalised education that prepares them for their future and work with incredible educators and partners to build a better more equitable and sustainable era of education.
